I’d really love to check into buying some park benches and picnic tables for the new school area that just got cleared out. It’s my job to make sure that the space is properly utilized, and I’ve already put in the order for some playground equipment such as swings, but you definitely need a universal spot for other more low-key activities such as picnic lunches and outdoor classes.This, to me, forms the building blocks of socialization, as anyone can meet and enjoy a picnic table or a nice little park bench.

I met my best friend on a park bench once, as we were both running and happened to stop at the same time to take a little breather. We struck up a conversation and we’ve been best friends ever since. I want to foster this opportunity and friend-making ability for kids and adults in the area alike, that’s for sure.
